More than a half-century ago, Yousef Nawas founded Nawas International Travel in the Old City of Jerusalem, inspired by a dream of bringing Christians to the Holy Land.
"I built our company on a foundation of respect for our clients and a commitment to providing a high quality experience," says Mr. Nawas, who handed the presidency over to his son Soli in 1994. Mr. Nawas maintains an active role in the company as chairman of the board.

From a one-man operation in 1949, Nawas has grown into an international travel organization serving thousands of Christian travelers every year. Still family owned and managed, Nawas is in its seventh decade of providing the finest travel experience possible at unbeatable value.
Although the Holy Land remains our favorite destination, today Nawas International plans and operate tours to more than 30 countries, including special programs to the Passion Play of Oberammergau 2010.
